“How can I change my back-up location for my iPhone on my Mac? The partition for my Apps does not have enough room to back-up my iPhone any longer. I would like to move the back-up location to another partition or even an external drive.”

Where is the iPhone default backup location on Mac?

First of all, we need to understand where the default backup storage location is in iPhone. Every time you backup your iPhone stuff in iTunes, the data will be saved in:

~/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup/

You can hit Command+Shift+G to pop up the “Go To” window from the Mac OS X Finder and then type this keywords: ” ~/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/”

How to move iPhone backup location on Mac?

[1]Be sure that iTunes is closed.

[2]Move the folder (~/Library/Application Support/MobileSync/Backup/) to the drive you need to backup. For example, you can move the data to a secondary drive in your Mac or an external drive that works for you.

[3]Launch Terminal (Applications/Utilities/Terminal) and then type in the following command prompt:

ln -s /Volumes/DriveName/Backup/ ~/Library/Application\ Support/MobileSync/Backup

Note: In the path, “DriveName” is the name of the new backup location.

iPhone is really a convenient tool of people to receive and send email whenever and wherever they want to. However, many iPhone users complained that they can’t send or receive e-mail from iPhone. In this article, we list several solutions for you to solve the problem that iPhone unable to send or receive email.

Solution 1: Restart Your iPhone Device

If your iPhone can’t receive or send email, you need to restart your iPhone first to see if this works.

1. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red “slide to power off” slider appears, and then slide the slider.

2. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.

Solution 2: Check Your iPhone Whether Has Internet Access

Solution 4: Enter SMPT Server Password

If you have tried the first 3 solution but still can’t send or receive email from iPhone. Then it may be because the SMPT server needs a password but you didn’t enter it.

1. Go to the iPhone email settings, select the account and then scroll down to the Outgoing Mail Server settings.

2. Click on the SMPT settings, then on the primary SMPT server, you will see that there is a field for password.

3. Just click on the password field and enter your SMPT password and this should solve your problem.

Other Solutions:

There are some other solutions for your reference.

1. Log in to your email provider’s website to ensure that the account is active and the password is correct.

2. Delete the account from Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars and then add the email account again on the iOS device.

iOS 5 introduced a new capability within iOS device’s Messages app named iMessage. It can send text, picture, and messages to other iOS users without paying your carrier for a special messaging plan. In this article we’d like talk about how to send photos using iMessage.

How to Send an iMessage Photo Using the iOS Messages App?

iMessage is built right into the same Messages app and Share Sheet that sends SMS and MMS to your non-iPhone using friends, so you can do it with your Message app.

1.Launch Messages app and tap the New Message button in the upper right hand corner.

2. Choose the contact you’d like to send a video to.

3. Tap the Camera button next to the message entry area.

How to Send iMessage Photo Using the iOS Photos App?

You can also send a single iMessage photo using the iOS Photo app.

1. Launch the Photos app and locate the photo you want to send. Tap on it to select it.

2. Tap on the Share button in the lower left hand corner and select Message.

3. The photo will be automatically inserted into a new message.

4. Type the contact name or search for the contact you want to send to by tapping the blue “+” button.

5. Tap the Send button.

Remember that iMessages photos can only be sent to people have an Apple device using iMessage, or your video will be sent as a regular MMS message. If the message appears in a green bubble instead of a blue one, it means you can’t send iMeassage to the contact you send and you’ll be charged any applicable text message or multimedia message fees.
