Control Center is one of the big features in iOS 7. It gives you access to lots of system toggles and utilities on your iOS 7 device; swiping up from anywhere on your iPhone or iPad will bring up the new hub for loads of options no matter where you are.

What You Can Access with Control Center?

Control Center gives users one-swipe access to the things you often want to do on a moment’s notice. Along the top of Control Center you can turn on or off the following features: Airplane Mode, WiFi, Bluetooth, Do Not Disturb Mode, Screen Rotation and Screen brightness.

In the next section of Control Center, you can access any media currently playing on your device. If you have nothing playing, it will show the last played track in your library. You can start where you left off by tapping the play button.

Underneath the Now Playing section you have another row of icons dedicated to Airdrop and AirPlay. And in the last row of Control Center , you can quickly access  to certain utilities and apps including: Flashlight utility, Alarm app, Calculator, Camera.

How to Access Control Center on Your iOS 7 Device?

You can easily access Control Center from your Lock Screen, Home Screen, or from within any app.  Just swipe up from the bottom of the screen, the Control Center menu will slide upwards.

How to Disable Access to Control Center from within Apps in iOS 7?

Control Center allows you to control the main guts of the iOS 7 devices from anywhere including while you are in an app. It really convenient but you can also disable access to Control Center from within Apps in iOS 7, if you don’t want that.

1. Launch the Settings app from the Home screen of your iOS device. Tap “Control Center”.

2. Toggle the option for “Access Within Apps” to the Off position.
